Default Difference between inner fairings.

I have a 2012 street glide and i am looking for a inner fairing to paint.
A local guy has a new inner fairing for sale part # 58497-08A which is a inner fairing for Electra Glide fairing 2008 and up.
But my Street Glide calls for inner fairing part # 58199-08A.
Can anybody tell me what is the difference before I commit to buying from this local guy?
Thanks

it will work, you will just have to drill the holes for your mirrors

i bought a new inner fairing for my 04 ultra a year ago and they sold me an inner fairinf for an 08. the only difference i had in the fairings was the holes to attach the wind deflectors, the one that came off only had three holes and the new one has four. i do agree that the only difference should be the holes for the mirrors

Won't work. The clutch cable holes are not in in the older model fairing.

Don't get one with holes, that was my mistake. SG mirrors were useless for me anyway. If you do handlebars, you'll regret the holes even more.

I believe new UGs don't have the mirror holes either.

And anything prior to 2008 will have holes for the throttle cables.

Here is a pic of the 58497-08A and it looks like it has the hole for the clutch cable.

Looks like an Ultra version not a street glide version. Could be a good time to change the mirrors out.
