Default Looking at Apes

Yes I looked through some of the posts here but seen no mention of these that I am thinking of getting
Paul Yaffe Originals Chrome 12″ Classic Bagger Apes for Touring Models

I have an 07 Ultra, been told the clutch cable can be rerouted and should be fine as well as most the wiring, but as far as the brakes and the throttle cables. Question is where and how much and what size of brake line, I dont have ABS on the bike. And other ideas or sugestion. Just going black not interested in braided for the extra money. Probably double the cost of black.

Even though you didn't find yours mentioned, about any of the information you found on 12's should be right. Make sure you are looking at info for '08 and b4. Think the wiring allowed might be different that for the new frames.

Here is a pic of my 2010 FLHTK with the 12" classic bagger apes. Mine has ABS. I extendened all wiring, added extended clutch cable (black) and brake line (black). With ABS I only had t replace only the brake line that goes from the master cylinder to the ABS module. I bought the Yaffe wiring kit but do not like the brake line because it is the smaller diameter line and looks odd with the thick clutch cable on the other side. I will eventually replace with braided but for now enjoying the comfort of the new bars. I paid $168 for bars and wiring kit (black). You are right the braided cost close to $400 for both bars and braided.ch
