Is there a way to listen to Zumo 665 XM on Harley headset?
My friend got a Zumo 665 for his 2011 Ultra. I told him he may have made a big mistake, paying an extra $150 for XM that he can't use without a Bluetooth headset. He uses the CB a lot, plus had the NIM so that he can hear the navigation prompts on his Harley headset.
Is there any solution? Is there some way to get the Bluetooth from the Zumo 665 XM piped into the wired headset?
I have something kind of opposite. I have the H-D Bomm, which sends my wired microphone input into my Zumo 660 so I can talk on the phone without a Bluetooth microphone. But I don't know of anything to help my friend. I think the guys in the shop, knowing he has an Ultra, should have advised him better about all this before they installed a Zumo 665 for him.

simple solution
i have a 550 same hook up. cable runs from zumo output to input plug on bottom right corner of radio. select aux on radio and sound will come out speakers on bike. make sure volume is up on the zumo in settings.
if you want sound only on wired head set push speaker button by your fog light button.
the head sets sound tinny on little headset speakers and dont last long with volume turned up.

He will need to split the audio output from the GPS so that he can feed both the NIM and the AUX input on the radio.
Depending on when he purchased the NIM it will come with a Y-Splitter and a 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Male cable. These are the parts necessary to accomplish this task. If he purchased the NIM recently then he will not get the 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Male cable and will have to purchase this from Radio Shack. Harley in their forever work to increase profits decided that they could save $2.00 on each NIM they sell if they did not include the 3.5mm cable.
Radio Shack part # is 43-223 but this cable has straight connectors on both ends. For a more aesthetic look order a cable with a 90 degree connector on one end such as this one.
The direction that comes with the NIM will explain how this is done. If he does not have the directions look on this site:
