Ok guys (and gals) this is what I need (if such a thing exists) please point me in the right direction:
I would like an electronic gizmo that would allow me to plug in a set of ear buds (head phones), communicate bike to bike (possibly multiple bikes), rider to passenger, listen to my Ipod, and answer a cell phone (Bluetooth).
I wear a half helmet, so ear buds are a necessity, and probably a throat mic.
I ride a 09 Street Glide, one more thing; Would it be possible to plumb audio from the stereo on the bike into such a unit? If so I could just plug the Ipod into the bike stereo.
1 Yes you can plug the ipod into the radio using the aux input on the radio
2 you can get a garmin/ tom tom gps with bluetooth /mp3 there you have the music and bluetooth. make sure it has a head phone jack.(garmin nuvi 680 is a good unit you will also need a mount ram mount makes a great one)
3 there is a com unit out there I don't remember the make or model for the intercom but will get it for you.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback, I do currently plug the Ipod into the jack on the radio, but if I were to put in headphones I wouldnt be able to hear it.
I like the idea of the Garmin with Mp3 & Bluetooth, but could comms somehow be integrated into this?
I guess if you had a comms unit with an input jack, like on the factory head unit you could plug the Garmin into that. When playing music or useing bluetooth (cell phone) on the Garmin if the GPS needs to tell you to turn, does it voice over the call or music?

The Scala Q2 would allow you to hear the Garmin and Phone and MP3 wireless I believe,
I know for certain that the Q2 allows Garmin and Phone and Comm's on Bluetooth wireless, I do not use an MP3,
There is no wireless connection that I am aware of to allow hearing the Harley factory radio.
IMC makes headsets that work helmetless or with half helmets. Different models can plug into the Ultra CB/intercom system, Portable CB or other devices. Maybe check them out.
