Bragging??
We all do it, brag about our bikes. This, however, makes me wonder. Why aren't we bragging about our bikes here? The majority of what I see are posts about how to fix this, or, what oil/tires/exhaust/tuner do I need. How about some bragging about how good our bikes are? Like how many miles on the clock with nothing done to it? Or how it handled the last set of twisties that we went through?
Personally, I haven't had my current scoot long enough to rack up a bunch of miles, however, I do feel it's the best bike I've ever owned. She handles like a dream, takes anything I throw at her and just keeps going. Haven't had to do anything to her but change oils and add gas. How about everyone else?

i think we can close this thread now with that pan, nothing could beat that, my dad had a 1942 knucklehead with reverse a few yrs ago and won every show going with it and also was in Easyrider, and that from a guy in the UK lol
a Harley never left me on the road, rode through torrential rains for over an hour in a rain gear, actually from MAnchester NH to Bristol CT so more like 2.5 hours, tractor trailers were going 30 on the interstate and I couldnt see them unless I was 20 feet behind them.
Got to where I was going, stripped off my rain gear and I was bone dry head to toe except for the neck fleece I tucked in and it wiked the rain down into a v on my chest, but otherwise I was dry and laughing as the sun was out where I ended up and my bike never acted up, slid, coughed, oh, the left grip broke free and I had to do an emergency road super glue trick to get home, but the bike didnt seem bothered by this at all.
Only other issue was the horn decided not to work when it got wet, once it dried it was fine, but wet it wasnt having it.
Brag? na just saying.
Granted I rode a brand new custom for 4 years, 16k miles, took a year and a half off to recover from surgery so really in 2.5 years racked up 16k with a recently broken back and never felt any pain in the saddle on those 500 mile rides.
Anyway, no need to brag, these bikes are amazing if you take care of them.
Actualy I never had any bike leave me on the road except my kawi once, the ignition switched just fried one day while out on a ride and I had to have it towed home, order a new one, plug it in and I was back, but still, not my Harley.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, there she is!! You bastard! lol
I am loving my 06 king. Have put 13" bars, Ness big sucker, True dual kit from B&E and superflows with 2" baffles, and a PCIII. I think it pulls hard, and it actually made my cousin trade his 01 EG Classic for a Road King Police with a 103. I have plans for a Fuel Moto 98" kit later down the road if the motor needs work, but i am more than happy with my baby as she is.
