Default Oil Pressure dropping

Bought a 2009 FLHTCU with 1000 miles on it, added V&H Turbo Duals and Rinehart 4" slip-ons, as well as 255 cams. Had it dyno tuned as well. This weekend I noticed my oil pressure gauge (which normally runs around 35) had dropped to 6-8 when I was in stop-and-go trafic, and at times as high as 40 when going 80-90 mph. Outside temp was in the mid 80's. And now I feel like I am hearing a ticking noise. Any thoughts?

Default Pump o ring

Did u pull the pump out when u did cams. The o ring on pump stem get damaged or left off. I like to turn crank shaft around abit with pump bolts finger tight let pump center before I tighten pump. I read 35-37 depending on hot motor is and at idle it reads 16-17

Talking

My favourite indy calls oil pressure gauges 'worry gauges'! They cause far more worry than they are worth. Your bike is fine, just ignore the darned gauge and enjoy your new ride!

Default its 255 dreaded rocker tick

the 255's are bad for ticking did u use stock push rods, u can get rid of some of the tick with adjustable instead of the hd spec 2.5 turns from preload all the indy builder in here have been saying 3 turns, did this on mine and it is better, how many miles on lifters i had 20000 on my bike when i did the 255 one year later im getting the odd tick , i pull lifters out and one lifter has a little piece of of roller and the other has a few flat spots, if u want stock lifters they are only 30 bucks a piece, the oil hole is inline with one of the flats now so it lines right up with oil hole in casing, now i put in andrews 32 that is a better fit for my ccp to match heads and pistons bike is much smoother and the ticking is better than it was with 255 quieter h32 is for 10.5;1 or higher builds
