Default Brake bleeder

What size wrench do I need for the bleeder on the front brakes? 3/8 and 10 MM are both too large.

Thanks Eric, it seemed like the nut might round off if I increased the pressure while trying to open the bleeder valve. the 3/8 seems a little loose.

Real men use their fingers.
Since you are going to loosen them, think about replacing them with speed bleeder valves.

Unless your keeping the bike forever many people do their brakes maybe once and speed bleeders are overkill not to mention they stick up to high for my liking......their almost 1/2-3/4" higher than stock if I remember correctly....

I know with the speed bleeders I am more likely to replace the brake fluid instead of putting it off. I never noticed the height difference.

Mine are actually smaller than the stock ones.

They make it easy to bleed and or replace the brake fluid by yourself, and as long as you do not let the cylinder run dry there is no way to get air into the lines. Well worth installing even if you do not plan on keeping the bike forever. And since they are so easy to install, if they fit, you can easily transfer them to your new bike, so keep the stock bleeders just in case.
