88 where I'm at today. Just moved to Texas recently from the Midwest. This is the first winter I'm not dreading since I was in CA, almost 30 years ago. If I never see snow again, that'll be ok with me.
We rarely get snow here although we did get a little bit a year or two ago - nothing to speak of but the entire city of San Antonio shut down...
By the end of summer I am looking forward to "winter" although for you folks in the northern tiers our winters are pretty warm. The coldest I've seen it get here is 27-28 and that's only in January. Normal winters are in the 30's. Not sure about northern Texas - I know Dallas gets quite a bit of weather and I am pretty sure it snows up in Amarillo.
