Was playing around on ebay the other day and looking at fairing lowers for my new RG Custom for the fall season here in MI. Found a set with only a $105.00 bid, so I put in a bid and maxed it out at $125.00. Forgot all about it and got the email tonite I won for $124.00.
They need some mounting hardware and a couple of parts but it will be way less than a new set for just a few months use. So this has been a great weekend, got married and won some lowers for the bike.

Just returned from Traverse City a few hours ago where it sleeted, snowed, poured rain, rained, wind blew, had zero sun ...and had a GREAT time. The fall colors are 100%. Head west to Empire and hwy 22. Enjoy the lowers.
Now that you are married everything changes. The parts now become "necessary for safety purposes", "Those are from the old bike", and "You won't believe the price I got these for". Congrats on the marriage and the smokin deal on the lowers. Unfortunately I cannot run lowers without changing out the HD Heavy Breather. Did not think about that when I had it installed.

Enjoyed the heck out of mine this weekend. Cool weather combined with rain, the lowers and heated grips, made my color tour quite bearable. Now if I could only figure how to keep my knees warm and dry.

They make a shorter filter and rain cover that works with lowers, I use one on mine.
Great score on the lowers! eBay is the devil, half the parts on my bike came from that site. You can save a lot if you search around and wait!
