The good old EPA! It's no longer about clean air and water. It's about controling every aspect of your life.

Not to get political, but - here we are worrying over a little spurt coming out of an aerosal can, while everyday in China, thousands of factories spew out TONS of pollutants and toxic particles.

It would do us good to put a very short leash on the EPA for a few years, and let a ton of small business enterprises get off the ground, that currently cannot even get started because of the over-ambitious Rules and Regs. In the end, the Consumer pays for all the compliance costs, amd given the state of the economy, maybe the controlling faction of the EPA might want to consider backing off a bit.... *cough*...

Bob

Question: Doesn't Pledge have a manual type spray (non-aerosal) choice?

Remember this on the 6th.
It may be to late for Pledge, but it will just get worse with Zero and crew at the helm.

I think if your ignorant *** actually read what I posted you "Biggdogg" wouldn't have made such a dumb *** comment yourself ... Yes I actually read the original post and actually read all subsequent posts thereafter and I did/do understand that Pledge did change their formula ... "Biggdogg" you need to stay on the porch with your mouth muzzled ... Grow up !!

That's because I believe the Carnuba is on the Endangered Species list.

I've used these for years with no problems and great results. Mequiar's makes some fantastic stuff IMHO.

But I may give that Honda stuff a try.

I don't use car products in the house and I don't use house products on my vehicles. Car wash is for cars and Dawn is for dishes.

I've been waiting to see if someone else uses Lucas. It's great stuff!! I never did the Pledge thing so I guess no loss for me but I've been a Lucas fan since I first tried it on my now ex wife's black Mustang several years ago! Great stuff!!

Checked my Pledge cans and I have the newer stuff. I've not had an issue all year cleaning my bike with it.

I use Novus products - 1; 2; and 3 types pending on what I need to clean and detail or scratch remove. Then I've been using the new Pledge. No issues. I still find it removes tar and bugs. I've used it on my Subbies as well.

BUT I've not had the old formula so I can't comment which one is better. I just know my paint and chrome finish and dash board and seats are looking very good and the finish on each is not falling off. Plus in 1 hr and 2 micro-fiber towels and I can do the whole bike, all surfaces with it.

Your mileage may vary...

THANKS for the info!
