Default iPod Relocation Kit

Has anyone done this install? I'm considering it for my '11 SG, but it means that I have to mod my left saddlebag. I'm not to sure about this and was hoping someone has done this and maybe some pics too.

I'm wanting to install the Boom speakers w/amp and the iPod interface as well, which is why I would have to relocate it. Thanks in advance any help.

I have the HD iPod interface installed, but mine fit atop the radio next to the CB. Easy install once I figured out the pins.

Did the install on my son's 2012 S/G. Took us about an hour and a half to complete. Putting the new pins into the connectors is a pain in the butt if you don't have the special tool (we didn't). Snaked the ipod cable under the tank without removing it. Then drilled a large hole to fit the connector thru the side of the bag and then into the new ipod holder that replaces the stock fabric for the bag lid. He likes it alot. Maybe speakers and amp this winter. You can do it yourself with patience, better than paying the dealer a couple hundred for the install.....
