Where can I get the cheapest price on rinehart true duals and PCIII USB? Thanks
Get a quote from Jamie at www.fuelmoto.com. I think they carry Reinharts, and don't forget to pick up a K&N (or other brand) breather kit if you haven't already. The good thing about Fuel Moto is that they have maps for many muffler/PCIII/breather combos and will program yours free before they ship.
i bought mine from jamie at fuelmoto. unfortunately, he is not doing free shipping anymore, so for my 07 it was 279 + 12 for shipping. seems to be +/- 10 bucks from the other guys, (usually -).
BUT, 2 big reasons to buy from jamie. first, he will preprogram your unit for you for whatever set up you have and your riding style. and second, he doubles the dynojet 1 year warranty to 2 years free of charge. and third, (okay so i said 2, sue me) he will send you updated maps free if you change your setup/riding style, etc.
Once you have the power commander on the bike with a map, can you not program it while hooked up using a laptop and the bikes power or do you have to buy the 9v adapter? Thanks to all who responded.
According to all I've read, you take the laptop out to the driveway and flash away. The USB cable should be your power supply. I plan on doing a PCIII and a K & N breather....I'm happy with the pipes (so far) lol
I have changed settings on my PWR CMDR and did not use the 9v adapter. I believe it is for use if the bike is off or if you remove the PWR CMDR for programming else where.
