Any one have any input on a good lowering kit... I've got a 09 RG and looking to drop the backend bout 1.5 inches... So many different makes and models... looking for some good feedback!
Curious as to what setting that is on, Tucci? I've got one and I'm torn on either the 1 or 2" setting on my Ultra. Not that I'm a lazy bastage, but I don't wanna have to go tearing it apart twice.
The pictures above show the kit in the least lowered position. As you move the bolt further away from the axle, towards the rear of the bike, it lowers it more at each bolt.
I would assume the bike is presently set in the 1" lowered position.
How much clearance do you have between tire and inside of fender? Have you ever scraped during a hard bump. I put the Progressive 940 on so I wonder how compatible that would be with my shocks.
Does that kit drop the shocks straight down or on an angle?
If on an angle, there are cheaper kits out there with the same specs. If straight down, the LA Chooper Kit can be had from me for $70 shipped (shameless plug)......

If you have coil over shocks they will not work as stated in the items header description...
I also had the LA Choppers kit that drops the shocks straight down and does not change shock angle. They wrap around the shock mount and are good quaility. The only reason I took mine off was because I needed new shocks so i just bought lowered ones.
