I have my front end apart to replace the fork tubes and sliders. Between the triple trees there is two, (one on each side) big rubber groments that the fork tubes slide through. At first thought they appear to be there to prevent total bottom outs, but that can't be because they slide on the fork tube between the upper and lower triple tree. So, what are they for?
