Default Bagger Bars

Those of you that have changed bars with internal wiring on your batwing bikes, what have you been paying in labor to get this done? My indy wants 8 hours which seems excessive but I'm not sure. Labor would be $480.

its 30 minutes for me just to pull the outer and move the inner to access the clamp.
an hour to pull bars, grips, controls, and wiring
an hour to 1.5 to reinstall everything
30 to reinstall.

if i have to do longer cables, it adds an hour to install and bleed brakes, install and adjust clutch
if extra wires, an hour to solder extensions and reinstall factory plug

so for normal bars, (10" or less) i charge 5 hours
apes are a 6 hour minimum

Default $450.00?!?!

For 8hrs of labor?
That sounds like a great deal. Really, I'm not kidding.
My dealer charges close to $100.00hr for labor.
I mean, I personally would do it myself no matter what someone else would charge but that sounds like a good deal.
From what I understand changing bars is a pretty big job with lots of little things that could go wrong. If your not really the "handy" kind of guy, it sounds worth it.
Good luck!

My father inlaw, a buddy and I did mine. We have done 4 sets of apes so it wasn't to bad. If u haven't ever done anything like it befor it will take a little longer but if u are handy at all get a service manual and do it yourself.

For the 10" Yaffe bars, will all my OEM cables work or will I need a clutch cable?
