I'm trading today for a 2002 EG Classic.
The radio has a cassette deck. I dont even own any cassettes.
What is a good choice to replace the stock one with and have CD (besides the HD job)?
If your interested, I'm sending my radio the dealer to get repaired. If the Harman Kardon Unit fits in my bike, I'll sell you mine at a discount (After being Repaired Of Course!). I can truely understand why anyone would want to pay $900 for a radio. Damn!
Let me know if your interested.

Try Biketronics.. They have a module that adapts late-model Sony CD's to Electraglides.. It's about $200 + the radio... Check some of the older links here, there are a couple on this subject..
Great Website!
But does Sony make an All-Weather / Marine Aplication Head unit? Otherwise I'll be going through head units like crazy! But other wise excellent option.
Thanks,
James
I ride with a couple of guys who have cassette decks, and both of them got MP-3 Players---IPODs are cheap and are very good. The plug right in to the aux port, and NO SKIPPING!

Call and talk to Mike at Biketronics he will walk you throught it all. They are good folks there. Also listen to what folks have to say about hogtunes, it really doesnt get any better. I installed the Sony 5710 2 weeks ago with hogtunes (about 45 min) and have been in two downpurs since (What a surpise here in the south in summer) and havent had as much as a drop touch the radio. Here is a pic of the install, its a bad pic but will give you an idea. Not only is the sony a better piece of equipment than the HD stuff it has XM built in so you dont have to have an additional unit hanging off something. On top of it all i was only out $480. clams for everything including Hogtunes.
If you look at Sincecrazy's bike you'll see what he did...it's pretty cool, there is a radio the MoCo sells, can't think of what it's called but they have it on display at my stealer.
