HD rider adjustable on mine. Wouldn't be without it. And no, I'm NOT saying it's better than the others out there, just that it works for me.

I ride a 2012 Ultra Limited and find the seat comfortable. I put a Gresshopper backrest on mine and find it supports my lower back and doesn't push me forward like some have posted about other backrests. It may not be the best, but you can't beat the price. If you have a long list of upgrades that you want to add to your bike, saving money on a backrest is not a bad thing.

Had the HD one on my '07, made the long rides easy. Put an HD one on my '12, though not really needed right now as I have to "reach" for the bars, when the new bars are in place, it will be a welcome add.

Another option is the Utopia back rest. Had one on a Kaw Nomad and very nice. The back rest part is more comfortable than the Mustang, shape and size. Mine didn't have the quick release on it though.

I have a factory 2005 Screamin Eagle Electra Glide drivers adjustable back rest for sale. Excellent condition. Fender mounting bracket and rear back rest billet piece too. $150, plus pay pal and shipping. US only.

I no longer use it with my seat mod.

12' Untra Limited; The grasshopper backrest was a quality unit that did not work for me. it pushed me too far forward. I also tried one off eback with the same result. The HD backrest on the stock seat is perfect and is also a quality piece.

HD adjustable with Hammock Seat for me. Works like a charm for long rides. Comfy as soon as you mount.

HD adjustable with Sundowner seat. For long days, the adjustable is well worth the extra cost.IMHO
