Suggestions please
Okay, so when I was home a few months ago, I got a new to me 02 Road King (carbureted) . The previous owner put Caliber exhaust, a thunderslide jet kit and then had it dyno'd. Can't remember if he put in a cam or not, I like the pull it has, but I want just a bit more. Nothing too outrageous though. Right now (according to the dyno sheet) it's putting out 71hp and 84 trq.
Any suggestions on what cams to look for or just a simple change in exhaust, carburetor and intake will do the trick. I have read quite a few write ups and it seems to be that I just can't make a decision on one. Already starting to order new braided cable and brake lines and trying to order everything I want to put on it before I get back home so I can put it all on at the same time.
Thanks for reading and also in advance for any suggestions.

IDK the HP or torque but I have basically the same bike but a 2001. Just had Andrews 37 cams installed and it is a beast compared to what it was. BTW, I had 70K on it before I ever had the cam chain tensioners replaced and the Indy was amazed. I DO NOT suggest anyone go this long.
if the caliber exhaust is a drag pipe type of system, then replacing it with a vance & hines pro pipe will give you a much better running bike. 2 into 1 exhaust/headers is about as good as you can get for both torque and horsepower. also you drop about 20 pounds of weight by getting rid of one of the mufflers and associated crossover stuff. i'm a fan of the vance & hines pro pipe, so much that i just got the same setup for my new 2013 roadglide ultra.
Because you have one of the "good motors" (9-02,) with the hot forged crank AND the all important Timken "Lefty" Bearing, you have many options.
If you keep it 88", Gear Drive with Andrews 21 cams. If you big bore and cam, Andrews 26's were designed for that application.
(That's what I've got.)
As for exhaust, pretty much any 2 into 1 and as for carb the Mikuni 42 can't be beat for torque IMO.
And if it's all about torque, these are the components to address. If you want lots of HP, you'll have to consider head work too.
My 95" puts out 85 HP and 95 ft/lbs torque ( about the same power as a newer 110" Stage I.) And it's still running strong with no oil consumption at 122,000 miles.

You have the same set up as me, carb, stage 1, I put in SE 204 cams, awesome sound and pulls past 5,000 rpms, the other cams like Andrews 21 will pull but not much past 4,000, I did a lot of research and reading, then went out and rode as many bikes with cams as I could and went with the SE 204.
