Can anyone that has a D&D ghost pipe tell me if the ghost pipe actually connects to the real pipe. I have the ghost pipe that goes up and under the seat on a 2003 Roadking.

lol no it doesn't it's purely cosmetic. It connects where the trans mount bolts up to and where your muffler attaches below your left saddlebag
Ok I have it installed and it looks great. So what you are saying is that under the seat where the pipes meet I can only get the ghost pipe as close as a half inch to the real pipe. This is normal?

I have no idea what you're talking about, the ghost pipe has nothing to do with the 2-1 pipe completely separate entity?

I realize this. I am trying to get the ghost pipe as close to the real pipe as I can. So it looks like they are joined together. Strictly cosmetic purpose so when you look under the seat area it doesn't look like the ghost pipe is just hanging there.

Mine is about 1/2" away from the other pipe off the rear jug. So, yes I would say this is normal. I think if they touched there would some rattling and chrome scratching going on
