Nope not what I am looking for. It is a ridgid clear plastic molded cover that snaps on.

Considered Cling Wrap?
Known folks to cover their windshields with it, rip it off mid ride, bugs and all.
Be careful with covers, may rub your paint.
A buddy says he don't fool with any bras with less than 4 snaps on it.
Wait a minute - that might not be bike related...

Wow, that's a clever idea. Don't mind washing my bike now and then, but when traveling, cleaning it every day can be a pain in the ***, especially the fairing and lowers.

I've never seen a rigid cover for the fairing. Only the clear paint protection films and bras. Rigid covers for saddlebags ..yes ...for fairings...no!
