LED head light
Any one see these. Headwinds.com LED head light for Harley's. They look the same as HD day makers and are 449.95 and 49.95 for mounting ring assemble. In black or chrome, not much of a savings ($525) for Harley. Maybe they make them for HD???. Anyway just thought I would share this info. Cheers
I just got the HD Day Makers, a few weeks ago, and those look exactly the same, only deal is the HD were plug and play nothing else to buy. And Got a Discount of about 50$ so same same for me.
Day Makers low beam is really good, but the high beam to me is weak, it lights up signs in the distance but does not seem to put out as much light as the low beam. I was talking to a guy at the HD dealership and he said the same thing, but he also had the 4" side lights that ran on both low and high beam and he said that made a big difference.

Crank the beam down a turn or two and go for a ride. I thought the same and just kept the wrench with me for a few weeks until I got it adjusted where I liked it.
It was way high after adjusting per instructions.

http://headlightservices.com/Bulbs.html Try the 70/65 Rallye bulb, it made a huge difference and beats spending hundreds.
I tried adjusting for the high beam and then when I switched to low beam the Low was way low. I got the dealership to hook the 4" side lights on, and relocated the turn signals, but they would not wire them on for High beam, said some bull about the amount of light and Fed or state laws.
The 4" side lights add a tremendous amount of light on low beam.
Now I got to get someone to rewire them for on off.

Pretty simple tho. This is on the right side of the bike at the neck. Once you've soldered the orange/white to the yellow, cap off the other ends. You're done. If you're not comfortable with cutting and soldering there is an HD bypass harness that's plug and play.
Good luck,
Reese
