Then it's comfort. I ride alot. I swap the seat and bars as necessary to make the bike fit me, rather than trying to fit me to the bike.

Only then do I get to performance. A stage 1 is gerenally enough for me.
+1 for me it was Safety first so I can be around to enjoy the performance mods.

I went comfort first as to hwy pegs, board repostioners, seating to fit the other half better and wind turbulence elimination, then superior lifespan parts as the shift rod to heim joints, upgrade brake pedal arm laid flatter, and such. Then to engine upgrades, exhaust, air filter with stage 1 and tuner, then off to chrome and accessories beyond the above. After all that upgrade to a newer bike and start over!!

Thumbs up

I would seriously do the exhaust and air cleaner right up front at the same time. They will make a larger difference in looks, sound, and performance than anything else for the money.

I could ride a slightly uncomfortable bike that looks and sounds cool farther than I could ride a totally comfortable bike that doesn't.....

Good Luck with the Mods! (You've only JUST BEGUN!)

1) Remove heel shifter.

2) Replace stock windshield. My preference is an 8in LRS Utra Flip , dark tint.

3) Purchase and install 1inch Soos Kits Footboard and mirror Extensions.

4) Stage one

5) Everything Else.

First thing I always do is air cleaner, pipes, and tuner (stage 1) They choke that baby from the factory gotta let her breath!
