Considering doing black braided brake lines on my street glide --- choice seems to be between Magnum black pearl or Russel renegade. What are opinions about either and is one preferred over the other or are they both very similar?? Thanks for feedback! paul

 

I used Goodridge ones, looks nice.

 

Im using the Russel Renegade on mine.
Not a real black, looks like a dark charcoal color but works well w/ the black pearl paint

I think both are good hoses & either will do the job.

Magnum here...Just install a few weeks ago, quality seem good and customer service is fantastic.

 

I've never had the Russell so I can't offer a comparison. I' do however have the Magnum Black Pearl, and after a couple years they look as good today as when I put them on the bike.

 

I also have the Magnum black pearl for over 2 years now on my 2010 Ultra. I have been completely satisfied and would definately order again.

 

I spoke with customer service at Magnum when I did my bars. I decided on their Chromite II finish, but if you call them, they will send you a sample of the Black Pearl finish.

Like others have said, I'm very happy with the quality and service from them.
