I have the Hog Tunes in my RG whichwas a great improvement over the stock speakers. I next added the amp from Pez. This amp has the Bass plus which give it more bass than stock, also way more volume. Was the best money spent. By the way I do not have the rear speakers either.

I got it,,,my stock speakers died a quick death. alled Pez and he set me up with the amp and speakers.

Pez is one of the best vendors i ever dealt with.

The amp does wonders. I would love to add rear speakers , but dont want to cut up the bags. Too bad some one doesnt make a quick detach rear backrest with speaker housings on it ..... that would be cool. NOT a tour pack,, just a backrest.

Old thread, but I made one of those. It is alright, but still needs more power.

Got the Hog Tunes amp and speakers on my bike, makes the most difference going down the road,I catch myself turning it down sometimes at 65 or 70 makes that much difference. I had the speakers for close to a year before I made the move for the amp, I had the scared to remove the shark nose sendrome Pez is a great guy to deal with, always got back to me in e-mails pretty quick to.

I bought the Amp, Front Speakers & Rears. Just try the Fronts & Amps, I can't hear the Rear speakers. Going 60 mph can hear great with 1/2 the bars and sometimes that is too loud. Can't say enough about Pez, he does prefer calling instead of emailing it seems like.

Got the Hog Tunes amp and speakers....
How do to speakers and amp compare to just the Hogtunes speakers with the stock amp? Is it worth $200 or more?

I have the amp on the way as we speak. Can't say enough about Pez. I took out the POS H/K and installed the Sony unit with H/T speakers on my Roadie. I think it has a "hollow" sound. I am not gonna pay Hawg Wired prices, drill my saddlebags and install a 6X9 and the H/T amp is 1/2 the price of the one Biketronics came out with. Plus, a friend has been waiting for the one from Biketronic for a month, on backorder. I emailed Pez, got an almost instant paypal invoice, and he shipped it the next day. I guess it depends on how much "green" you want to spend. Pez said yes the volume is increased but what you will notice more is clarity and bass responce.

I am resurecting this thread hoping you guys can answer a couple questions for me.

I received a pair of the Hog Wired 2ohm component speakers (HW#SX502-60) for x-mas. I am wondering if the Hogtunes amp will work with these speakers? Also, would I still have the option of adding a pair of 6"x9" speakers in the bags at a later date?

I fear that the HW speakers, because they are2ohm,are stand alone speakers only, and that I would have to dump them to add an amp or rear speakers.

Please adivse. Thanks!
