I bought the 5" black windshield. They were real good with shipping and all. It just didn't work for me. Too short and too much wind, so I don't use it. The edges are not finished real nice like the more expensive Harley shields, they're kinda sharp. You could sand the edge yourself. They're fine for the money and they were good to deal with. Hope that helps.

I have purchased two---going home to look at the edges now.Good company to deal with it, shipping was on time. I bought a chrome 4 and a smoked 5--- but I admit I'm a windshield and chrome *****.

Yeah, look ath the edge on the factory shield. It's rounded a little and not sharp. It looks as if Sin City cuts them out and that's it, no finishing of the edges. But that's OK for the price.Pay more, get more.[sm=smiley20.gif]

The shield I bought was black opaque. You should be able to finish the edges easy enough. Fine sandpaper.Check this link http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/tec...eld/index.html
for instructions on edge finishing

I'm on my second one from there (first one got scratched from improper cleaning....) The edges on both of them (one dark smoked, the new one is black) are pretty smooth. Maybe not as finely cut as the stock windshield that I still have in my garage, but not really anything I had ever noticed until you mentioned it.

Shipping was prompt and service is great from them!

I got mine from Fastaire and it is very good quality. I went with a 8in smoke shield, something around 37.00 shipped. Not sure on the prices you were looking at.

Check out harleyman8960 on e-bay. I am on my second windshield from him. I went with the smoked 8" and was very impressed. Left the first one on the bike when I traded it in. If it didnt have a rock chip I would have kept it. He does a nice job and the price is fair.
