Default What Now? advice needed

New to me 2007 Road King Classic 21000 miles. I believe it's all stock except for the Rinehart true duals I just put on to replace the broken header pipe. It had V&H slip ons when I got it. Just got the bike back together after doing a lot of maintenance. I've read and read and searched this forum and the net. Now, I'm really confused. Do I need a remap or a fuelpak, tuner, or how about a night rider? I don't plan any engine mods. I ran the bike for a short trip, 5 miles, and it ran great. Thanks for the advice.

I'm pretty sure the headers alone won't require a fuel mod. Now if you put a heavy breather on there then absolutely, you need to re-map.

Exactly. Mine had V&H Dresser Duals when I got it and it ran fine. I added a Ness Stage 2 Big Sucker and the bike leaned out big time!! I bought a Fuel Moto tuner and all is good again. As said above, you get that intake breathing, you will need it.

While ya can get away without a tuner. Something like a PCV or PV and proper dyno tune may be the best maintenance ya can do for a proper, long running bike.
