Default Driver floorboard question

I recently took my floorboards off of my 11 RG and then reinstalled to the manual torque spec. Now they move up and down not sure if they did this before. Question is should they be tight with no movement or should they pivot in case of scraping in turns.

that's normal, they're suppose to pivot

Yeah, they should pivot. What you don't want are loose brackets bolted to the frame.

Yep, definitely need to pivot. Keeps bad things from happening when you ride like this:

Thanks guys only took the boards off not the brackets, so 3 it's normal so far I am good with that, thanks for the help.
