Question Cleaning black cases???

OK, so I got a little over zealous with the Meguiar's chrome polish, and got some residue on my cases. Didn't notice until the next afternoon. Hey, it's Bike Week, what can I say? So anyway, now I have white residue on the cases and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

HELP!

After you get it clean, I read about "pig spit" on this forum to make the black really black again. I asked for it at a bike shop, and they "pig snot." I assumed I remember the name wrong. 2 days later, I see pig spit lol

I can only speak for the pig snot, but man, it did a number on my motor. Looks awesome!!! It looks blacker than ever, but also has a suddle clean sheen to it.

C.H.L. how did you apply that Pig Snot? Just spray it on and let it dry?

Yep!

It sprays out like a wet film... I think you can use it on chrome too, but I didn't. I wiped off where it got on primary and stuff... Really makes the black look good.
