Default The shameless trade thread

Yes I realize this is a horrible tactic but hey you never know. I'm still looking to trade my 03 EG for a RK. It has 12,800 miles. I've tried the for sale section but maybe it'll get a few more eyes on it here. I'm wanting a Road King because I like the simplicity and classic look of the bike. I like mine and really don't want to pull the fairing and discard the gauges just to have the look I'm wanting. I'm in Oklahoma if anyone is interested.

Man if i lived closer i'd seriously consider talkin to you about it... that's a nice bike. But then my Rk is a 2000 with close to 35k on it anyway, so likely older and higher mile than you want... and i don't know, some days i think i'd really like a fairing bike, but i sure do love my RK.

I wouldn't just "pull the fairing and discard the gauges". I'd find a RK tank and gauges, have it painted if necessary, remove the EG fairing and tank, and replace it with the RK tank. Put a windshield on and there you go. And you could always put the batwing back on.

Your rk is pretty much what I'm looking for. But would like to find something with fewer miles on it

Sometimes the difference between having and not ...is simply asking. Good for you for asking. Ya never know what you may find. If it doesn't happen... no loss....besides underneath your fairing is a your Road King
