Spring has sprung!
An old riding buddy called yesterday morning and said he was bored. Called the boss, told him I was taking the day off and off we went. It was 45 degrees and sunny when we left Dubuque. Rode to Poopies in Savannah for lunch and then stopped at the Iron Horse and chatted with Jerry (they were just getting ready to open for the season).
By now it was above 50 and we took Deridian Road out of Savannah over to Sharks, then took the backroads through Scales Mound to New Diggings and had a brew with Lou. Back to Dubuque from there.
Roads weren't bad, only a couple of wet patches. We are supposed to get rain today. Still lots of salt on the road, hope we get a nice thunderstorm.
Was a great day!
