Default Interstate Battery

Anyone use Interstate battery in their Touring bike? $170.00 for the HD battery so I think I could save a few dollars on the Interstate one?

Just wonder if they hold up? Probably made by the same company!

Most people go with Dekka and have had good luck (myself included). Under $100 and the same as stock with a different casing. http://batteries.batterymart.com/sea...=Big+crank&go=

Where in Wis are you located? If you have a Blain's Farm and Fleet close by they sell East Penn (Deka) AGM batteries. Deka are O.E.M. batteries for H.D. $99.00 with a core exchange.

Walmart AGM battery for touring HD are $77 and made by Yuasa. Hard to do better and the most available source in the US.

Interstate makes great batteries. No experience with the mc ones only automobile ones.

If I am correct, the same company that makes OEM Harley Davidson batteries can be found at Battery Plus for about $70 bucks vs the $170 bucks HD Battery at the dealership.

It's the exact battery with a different label and about a $100.00 discount!

Good Luck,

YB

Agreed 100%. Everybody in my riding club uses 'em. The MoCo gets enough of my money for other things. $100.00 is a lot to pay for the embossed bar and shield on the HD case...

If i remember correctly, the batteries + extra charge buys a second year of warranty, otherwise looks to be the same battery.

I bought my replacement from BatteryPlus. I think it was like 130 best part is 3 year warranty. Most places 1 year HD 6months?
