Changing the gaskets on your new headpipe is always a great idea. We use the tappered ones anytime we do a job here. If yht e bike is a newer bike its not as big of a deal but certainly should be done on an bike that a couple years old or older. Looking for any exhaust give us a ring and we'll throw in the gaskets for ya.

Change em out. They're inexpensive.

What is the best stage 1 breather to change too if doing headers and slip ons?

I installed an AN Big Sucker. For the price it's not bad. Plus you can use all kinds of covers on it.
