oops left the oil drain plug out and poured 2 quarts of oil through motor before i seen it running through,it worked out alright had 2 extra quarts in the shop.

Been there done that. I look at it as just flushing crap out if the motor lol.

See, other than things got a little messy - no harm done! 2 in - 2 out, and then 2 more in.
I've had many lapses myself.......

Just be glad is wasn't 6 qts of Mobil1 through a C5's motor onto the garage floor - ask me how hard is is to clean that syn up with rags and newspapers. Many years ago, now I always check and double check the plug.

Was changing hyd. Fluid on one of our excavators a few years back. Drained the 53 gal. Out and had to much going on in the shop that day and started pumping the fresh hyd fluid in. Before I noticed the oil running from underneath the track I pumped almost 30 gal. Into it. That was a spendy flush right there
