If you own a batwing and your horizontal bracket broke here are the most current part number for replacement.
HD part number. 58939-96C (Right side), 589838-96C (Left side)

Question. On the web site it says Batwing Fairings before 2010. Did Harley change something in 2011? I have a 2012 and am now wondering if this will be a problem for me or if Harley instituted some fix.
I fixed mine with 2 angle brackets and bolted it on.
Cost under $10 dollars at the local hardware store. Been installed for 4 years now with no issue. Grinded the bracket down to match the stock brackets, painted them black, can't hardly tell they are they.

I think they went with better brackets in the newer bikes
