Default Damage from riding with inactve O2 sensors?

My bikes showing both front and rear O2 sensors inactive. The check engine light isnt coming on, but its shows codes P0134 and P0154. Whats the worst negative effect from riding it until I get it figured out? Crappy Milage? Its running strong.
I just put on new Vance and Hines Power Duals, and a Cobra Fi2000 tuner.

Remove the tuner, clear the codes, and take her for a ride. If you didn't change out the air cleaner, then you can get by without the tuner. Check for codes after the ride.

joe, was wondering what you think is happening here? do you think the tuner is keeping the 02's inactive? just wonder what's going on here?

I ran my 2010 limited that way for 2 years while running a PCV, then hooked them back up when installed PV. Cleared the three codes and worked fine. You can eventually get your tune back up to normal on fuel mileage and still have the better performance of the tuner. I am assuming you have to unhook the O2's with the cobra tuner as you do with the PC5.

The codes may be old history. Clear them and check again later to see if they return.

I think your tuner is FIGHTING with the stock HD Brain.......

One says More Fuel and HD says take it away...

Probably too rich for the HD Brain but not for your running the bike. Like you said IT Runs Strong.

Does you tuner instructions say to do away with the 02 sensors?(bypass?) or use them. I Know on my Dobeck tuners, give caps to cap off the 02 sensors to FOOL HD's brain that everything is fine and ADDED gas flow is taken as OK by the HD brain.

I would get two bypass caps offered by ? and go around the 02sensors that is the way I'd go.

Not knowing your tuner though, that might Not be the way to go.

IF Bike is not running TOO LEAN n Hot, OR too Rich with Black, showing a LOT of carbon on the plugs/pipe ends all that equals no damage being done.

Inactive 02 sensor light will do nothing BAD to the engine... It just says that they are Probably disconnected and WHO put the tuner on MIGHT have disconnected them for the tuner to Run properly....
My Opinion only.

When your bike is not in closed loop (inactive O2 sensors for example) it uses the tables instead of the O2 feedback to meter the fuel to the engine. No big deal really. It might run a little rich or lean though.
