Hey anybody every install cruise control on a 2010 FLHP? Got the part #77197-08 from the dealer and they said it should be plug and play, yet none of the connectors match what's on my bike. Does this require an entire new harness?

 

You have a Police model, you will need to get a different harness. The cruise module will not connect to a Police harness

 

So no wires to the ECM for cruise at all? i.e. no way to make it work?

Go to cruisemount.com then contact them.

The person at the dealership didn't know that police models have much different wiring.

Highly recommend that you buy the HD service manual and police supplement since you intend to work on your bike.

I had my dealer install factory cruise on my 09 FLHP so it can be done. I have civilian controls and I seem to remember that they needed run on additional wire to make it work.
