Just got my seat back today. Think the rain might get in?? The gap is even bigger when it's on the bike and I sit on it. So, what would you do? Live with it or send it back?
The big slit is the factory cutout for a back rest (this is a RGC seat). When I sent it to have the foam modified it was closed (as they all are from the factory). That's the hole I'm talking about rain coming in on the electrics under the seat. When it's mounted on the bike and I sit down, it gets bigger than that.
So, would you live with it, or give them another crack at it?

I understand that's the slit for the backrest I have it too but it's tight and you can't see down there even with the backrest on with my bike.
As far as water/rain the bike and it's connectors are pretty much water resistant. It's how it looks that I don't like. You shouldn't have a gaping hole/slit that's 3/4 of an inch open. Personally I'd send it back.
