Default 04 clutch cable replacment.

Gotta swap clutch cables on my 04 road glide, does the exhaust have to come off?

More than likely... you may get away with just getting it really loose

If yours is like my 2005 flht, it makes it a lot easier with the exhaust dropped. I fooled around with trying to replace the cable w/o removing exhaust, could not get a good grab on the trans cover bolts.

It takes less than 20 mins to remove the stock exhaust and it makes it soooo much easier to remove the transmission cover. If you have aftermarket pipes without those heat shields it takes even less time

cheers
