Cool 60,000 mile Service

Keepin mind: Bikes been in the shop forWarranty work only its entire life 100% - DIY is my creed, so I decided I need to trust my SJHarley Service team after 4 years – deep breath here I go

Atthis point I could have done a Stage 4 Kit $1,800, but the Engine's been Solidand I'm looking to go another 60k with no problems..

All of that only happened because you took it to the dealer. Now look what you did.

As far as torquing the axle nut, smear some anti-seize between the axle nut and the cam adjuster and it will not move while torquing the not to 100 ft/lbs.

Are you holding the left side of the axle with another wrench to prevent it from turning?

EDIT; just remembered that torquing the axle nut is a 2 step process. Lower torque setting initially confirm belt adjustment, then final torque.

I had the same problem with the axle moving when torqueing it up too. I smeared grease on the cams thinking that might work, it didn't. What I finally did was torque the rear axle nut to about 60 ft. lbs while it was on the jack and then drop it down to the ground and finish putting the rest of the torque to it. It seems to have worked the last three times.
