I put a Stebel Nautilus from
Amazon Amazon
in the same spot as the cow bell with addition of the wiring harness they suggest. But I have yet to actually use it instead watch for the idiots and slow down or get away from them fast.

Might want to play with what you've got. Clean the contacts and adjust the gap. Many times a weak horn becomes quite a bit stronger with just a few minutes of twiddling.

This is a pretty good walk through of the type of horn these bikes use.

I have had the mini beast 2 for a couple years with no problems. I think it is 138 db. Very loud and annoying. Happy with the purchase.

Default Mini Beast

Can't go wrong with a Mini Beast. Plug and play 15 minutes. I even went to HD and got a small HD stick on winged madallion and stick it on there. You should have seen the parts guys rifling through their parts book to find the new HD Air Horns I drove up with...LOL. I never said they were HD, mind you, they are all about wanting to sell something, so there ya go. Oh...Loud too!

My Howards Horns work fantastic. Very loud. But you have to like the chrome air horn look.

I remember a forum member posting a horn system that was a loud horn you wired into your stock horn . The loud horn was mounted under the saddlebag . it also was tied into your head light/running lights . if you pushed the button once it sounded the stock horn if you held the button down it started blasting the loud horn and flashing your lights in unison. DOES anyone know what this horn system is called

I wish the Harley horn was more big bike sounding and not so much moped-ish. I don't use it that much anyway because it's embarrassing.
