The quality isn't there with Yaffe. China made. Enough said. IMO
I've been confused on this issue cause it is posted on there website they are made in the USA and it also says it on the box that they come in made in the USA.
I thought they were USA made too. As I mentioned, I have the 12 inch.. had them for a year now.. just want to go taller.. Yaffe folks said 6 weeks before I could get them...WOW
found a guy on here with some Buckybars.com These looks much like them, except they are 4 inches wider.. not sure how much difference that will make.
Also, the LA Chopper Prime Apes bars, are 4 inches wider.
So i will call both of them tomorrow, to see how fast they can get them out to me. Both of them claimed to be Made in U.S.A.
I am buying American if I can...
I just can't believe Yaffe can not produce bars faster than 6 weeks.. that must be some back order list they have.. with a high demand
I work just down the street from their shop and stopped in to pick up a set and they said 4 weeks to get them in. My local Dealer wanted 2 extra hrs for the install of the internal wires just because of problems they have with the rough condition inside the bars to pull past. I found a set I liked better and cheaper.
So basically that means they are fabricated some place else out side of the US?
Well, now time to decide BR bars, LA CHoppers, or BuckyBars..
I like the idea of 1.5 inches of bar from BR.. looks a little meaner..but his more costly, but I bet the quality is there.. and I like to help the little guy out...
BUt I think his build time is 4 weeks as well, but will need to call.. they may have some already built.. and chromed..
