Mine did this. HD has released several upgrades for the HK radio. They get uploaded by burning a CD and putting them in you CD player. I have all of them. I believe the first upgrade fixes the rear speaker code issue. Drop me an email and I will send the files to you. Give your dealer s**t for not doing this for you. HD supplies all the updates to the dealers, and they are supposed to do the uploads free at every service. I have only ever talked to 2 people who ahd the upgrade done without asking........
I did the upload and there are a couple things to remember.. First you have to say the files to disk and the write speed of the disk can not be higher then 8x. If it is then the radio will lock up and that is a major pain in the arss.... Trust me.. I have noticed that one thing that changed was that when you are using the front headset and adjust the volume you also see the back headset volume. The old way you did not see it.. That is one thing that I liked about the old version. It would tell me when the back headset was plugged and when it was not.. Now I can not tell... but it is something that I will have to figure out now that I have uploaded the new version.. If you would like more info let me know..

Oley;
Although I am not Pez, that sounds like a bad antenna to me. Check the end in the tour pac first, then make sure the antenna is actually plugged into the radio. It is possible to pick-up some FM with a bad antenna, but AM needs a good antenna.
