Thanks guys...I'm going to give these a real try before I make a decision either way.
I just hope the rain, rain, rain, Sunny(half the time I can't ride), rain, rain, rain weekly pattern here in the NE breaks soon.

I'll be real interested in how you like them. It would be self serving for me to hope that you don't. So, I hope that you will like them. They are really nice looking, that's for sure.

The damn tropical storm is finally past us here in the mid-atlantic now, so the sun is just now coming out after several days of rain.

Not even close in sound. I just took off my CFR'S put the JP pro tour 4.5 on and very very different sound. Not in love with the Jackpots although the finish is flawless and great looking pipes.

That's good to know Nick. Can you describe the difference that you are hearing (or heard) between the JP Pro-Touring and the CFR's? Thanks

I'm in the same boat as the OP - but for me it's more about the deep tone annoying me. So far I only have about 20 miles on the CFRs...stay tuned. Might be putting them up for sale soon.
