Turnout slip ons?
Emgo look like they do some universal fit ones - just want a sense of how loud they are.
Anyone had any experience with them?
I have a set of V&H BigShots that came with tips that can be rotated 90° (down or out).
Feeling bored one day I decided to rotate them out to see how it sounded.
I was surprised at just how much difference it made.
I hated it... the sound changed from a deep throaty rumble to a raspy, tinny sound that just gave me a headache.
I've got Khrome Werks slash cuts which 'point' sideways and I LOVE the 'proper dirty Harley' sound, but it's just a bit too loud and I've come to not prefer the look of slash cuts.
I really love my Paughco Bell tips, but they tend to sound a bit more like an old Triumph than a Harley, so I'm looking for something retro looking... but dirty sounding
At that price I can afford to junk them after a year or sell 'em on again.
Just fitted them and they're great! They've got a steel perforated 'tube' baffle with a couple of 'spoon' shaped scoops set to either side in the middle, so they're not 'too loud', but definitely noisy

Fitment was a bit of a challenge, I had to make up a couple of brackets from some metal I had kicking around, but in the end they fit really nice.
And sounds great! Nice 'Harley rumble' without being too loud or tinny.
I'm pretty darn pleased

home-made support brackets
...they attach to the mufflers' universal slider bracket
Nice retro look
I'm a bit pleased

I'll try and do a video over the weekend - the sound is definitely 'loud', but not as loud as the V&H 3" slip ons or Big Shots that I've had previously.
It's a more 'authentic Harley sound' - not the boomy hollow sound I think the V&H's give
Baffle from the outlet end - you can see it's been spot welded in (non-removable)
Baffle from the inlet end - you can see a couple of 'scoops' which help to keep the noise sensible... But it's still 'loud'

I had to drill the holes in the stock muffler bracket a bit larger (8mm), but really, a vice, hammer, hacksaw, file, drill, the right bits and an hour of fettling and it was done.
I'll probably get some thicker gauge flat bar at some point to make them sturdier, but to be honest these are doing the job just fine.
Either way they need painting black
