Default finally pulled the trigger

After an a year of hesitating I just ordered 16" carlini gangster apes. Inch and a half in black. Can't wait to get them!

Is it an install job I can figure out myself? Or should I just have an indy do it to save frustration?

Kinda depends on your skill level. Per Clint Eastwood, " A man's got to know his limitations" I did mine on my 11 RKC, but I can also put a clutch and water pump in a 93 Civic

Handlebars? You should be able to do it, if your cables are long enough.

BTW...what kind of gun was it?

you spent a year and a half deciding and your not sure about the install ?

it is pretty straight forward depending on a few factors.
are you wiring them inside the bars?
are they similar in size so you can use your existing cables or do you need to replace the cables too ?

there are lots of good videos on you tube for Installing bars.
I am looking at br custom bars, thy have a great site for info especially how to wire them.
your ability to do the job will depend on your mechanical inclination.

if your patient, you read everything you can, ask questions to the company who makes them and get a manual you can do it.

if you need to replace cables and or you are going with I sternal wiring then its a little more involved but still not rocket science.
good luck

Title of post caught my eye. You pull the trigger in my hood and people duck the shoot back.

Can't help with cables.

Carlini gangsters are very nice. The 1.5" bars really make a nice statement. Plus they are wider whic is very nice. I am no wrench but did them myself. Get info from here, buy a manual, and take your time. It's really very easy and I even had ABS and had to replace the brake lines.
