I wanna move my license plate too. Is the 08 fender wide enough to drop it below the tail light and if so what license plate holder do I need to use.

By the way, nice scoot. I have the detach tp also and wanna clean up the rear like you have done.

Not sure on the 08, mine is a 10. I use a plate holder from drag specialties that was for a small radius rear fender, and I should have used one for a large radius because of the wider rear fender with the wider tire. I had to do a little reshaping and also really trim down my plate, but in the end was very happy how it turned out. I am no parts guy but I think the small radius would probably work on your bike. Also, I put some stick on rubber pads behind plate holder to keep from rubbing on rear fender.
