I found some retro hard bags on wish.com that may give it that nostalgic feel.

I have a 2002 Classic with leather bags and I am looking to lower the rear one inch. I posted a thread but have not recieved any feedback. What is the cheapest option to do this> Way back there was TJ products who made brackets that did not change shcok angle and require bag mods. Is there anything like that now? Or do I need to go with short shock swap out which would be more expensive. Thanks

Not sure this is really the correct thread but you could be lowering it in a classic way. Anyway try these:

Default no whitewalls

I needed a new back tire on my 09 Classic so decided to try a change. After 70000 miles and cleaning whitewalls and spokes since new, felt I needed a break. It was very difficult trying to keep that back tire clean. I got these wheels new off a 17 limited that my bud put chrome right out of the showroom. I kind of like the way it turned out.

Hey all -

So I've always wanted a RK Classic... and now I've got one!

Got a killer deal on it, and it's basically stock - just some little stuff - tach, chrome touches here and there. Even still had the stock exhaust!

Not sure exactly what I want to do to it yet, but first order of business was to throw a pair of slip ons on it.

More to come! (Definitely have to get the correct seat on there.)

Question regarding Wild 1s 518s.
How much clearance should I leave between the tank and controls-grips?
Will the vibration while running potentially drive the bottom the controls into the tank at full lock if I do not have a certain amount of clearance?

Great thread and great posters for info.

How are you liking those pipes? Good sound??? Look like the ones I have sitting under my bed waiting for spring to roll around here in Michigan

I've been very impressed. Loud but in a deep mellow way which isn't always the case with cheap mufflers.
