I stopped in HD dealer in Asheville, NC two weeks ago and asked if she had any switchbacks on the sales rack, and the lady in the M/C department said she could do better than that and showed me the 2007 Summer Motor Clothes Catalog and there was the Switchback for 2007. I grabbed the book, read the description and looked at the picture, it was making a comeback!
Like many, I didn't buy it when it first came out last year andended up very jealous of two buddies who had one on our Sturgis trek last year. I searched and searched every dealer since then, but no joy. Heard a rumor last Nov that it was coming back out, but couldn't find anyone related to HD that could confirm.
Well, I can confirm it, and thanks to the lady at Gene Lumus HD, I haved pre-ordered one to be shipped to me as soon as they arrive. BTW, I think the cost went up about 50 bucks from the original.
