So got up at 6 on sun Morning. Left around 8 with some buddies to go to Peoples Valley,AZ. 2 miles from Yarnell. This is were the 19 hot shots got
killed. we could not get any closer to YArnell . Road blocked.
Sad day.
We waited for 4 hrs in the sun. but toughed it out at the little T bird cafe with about 80 more bikes from around Prescott .
After the 19 Hurst went by we waited 5 min in respect and went to follow to Prescott. Then Prescott Valley police road blocked us 2 miles into the run home. Made us sit for 30 min in the middle of the road.Police said in respect we were not allowed to show are respect by following them in.
That really sucked after waiting all day. We even talked to An undercover that showed up 20 min before they came. He said just stay back a little.
Then when we pull into Prescott finally the recession was over. My bike was pinging from overheating...
A shitty day but an Ice cold beer in Prescott did the trick..
Sad..... and forgot the bad day when you think about the 19.. Just sent chills up your Spine.
REMEMBER 19!!!!
