I fell in Love with the blue paint job of the 2013 CVO road king.
I don't want another bike and have WAAAAAY to much money in up grades to think about trading in my Limited.
My question is, can you have a bike painted and it look as good as factory paint?
you def can, just make sure you get a quailty painter and they can make it looks as good or better than factory, and usually get what you pay for so keep that in mind when shopping around. most will have plenty of photos to show off their work.

+1
Also, any quality painter will have plenty of examples around the area.
Do not let anyone paint your bike, until you have seen some examples of their work.
Pictures might help, but you really need to see a bike they have painted in person.
There are lots of good quality painters out there.
Unfortunately, there are probably many more that "think" they are good.
In the painting world, word of mouth and reputation means a lot.
You can buy the tins already painted from the MOCO. Also, many avaiable on ebay. Replaced my tins with brand new factory painted parts for $700 (tank and both fenders) from ebay.
It did take a while as Iwas looking for an exact match (color and graphic).
